This year, I made my grandmother’s “goof balls” recipe to take to Bryan’s Thanksgiving dinner (plus my usual dishes that I take). They are so good. Here is how you make them.
Grandma’s Goof BallsMaxine Taylor’s Recipe
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 stick of butter
60-70 unwrapped caramels
1 lrg bag of marshmallows
1 box of Rice Krispies
Freeze the marshmallows completely. Melt, caramels, milk and butter in a pan over medium heat (or in a double broiler). When all is melted, dip marshmallows in caramel (I use toothpicks to dip the marshmallows) and roll in the Rice Krispies. Set on wax paper to cool. Eat and Enjoy!
